The museum in Jávea is located in a historic building in the old town.
The exhibitions are over 3 floors, where you can find pictures of local painters, an extensive and valuable collection of objects that have been found on the coast of Jávea, many ancient objects from the region as well as various temporary exhibitions.
Fantastic are the original ceramic floors, especially the floor with its hand-painted green and white enamel tiles called “mocadorets” in room VI.
