People from Valencia propose to create a mountain route through the valleys of Marina Alta and Marina Baixa.
The debate on the future Coastal Train station returns. The Diputación de Alicante advocates advancing the connection of the Marina Alta with the train and bus terminal. The spokesman for the Diputación de Alicante, Gerald Fullana, calls for 70,000 euros to be allocated to the "Study-project 'Shuttle' in the Marina Alta". He explains that, "regardless" of where the station is built, it is already "necessary" to define how public transport will connect the municipalities of the region with this stop. Mr. Fullana warns that we must achieve "a real connection of the region with the suburban train.
Another amendment is also proposed that touches' the Marina Alta. 'For the Tour Valls de les Marines' project, it is requested that 60 000 euros be allocated, this consists of creating a mountain through the valleys and the interior of the Marina Alta and the Marina Baixa. It must be done in stages to become "a reference race and a tourist route". Whose objective is to promote rural and sports tourism, and also, the protection of the environment.
