  • In February the Carnival is celebrated, when costumes and masks transform the people for a few hours and the "Half Year" informal parade of the Comparsas de Moros y Cristianos.
  • The processional steps of Guardamar are of a great quality. But what distinguishes his Holy Week are the performances that relive moments like: The Passion of Christ, the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, The Prendimiento, The Lavatorio de Pilatos or The Resurrection Sunday Encounter.
  • Easter Monday, where it is tradition for the families of Guardamar to go to the pine forest to spend the day.
  • With the summer equinox on June 21 comes the Plantà de la Foguera, a cardboard and wood monument where criticism and world events of the year are exposed. The NIght of San Juan takes place on the beach the Nit Màgica, the night of the magical rite of fire. The next day the bonfire is burned.
  • The festivities of Moors and Christians in honor of Sant Jaume are celebrated in the second half of July. It's the town's big party. It begins with the representation of the legend of L'Encantà, where the Lady of Guardamar is crowned.
