Jávea is a town on the Costa Blanca, in the Province of Alicante (Spain), 90 kilometers north of Alicante and 110 kilometers south of Valencia. It is located between the capes of San Antonio and La Nao . 

Touristic and maritime town, exactly placed between the San Antonio and La Nao capes, enjoying the impressive and magnificent protection of the Montgó mountain. A clean and peacful Mediterranean sea escorts its coast along 25 kilometers of beaches, coves and cliffs. 

A place where the lovers of photography have the opportunity to make beautiful pictures. A town chosen by many tourists and visitors that love to stay in the beautiful hotels and renting apartments. 

The Weather in Jávea

The climate in Jávea is warm and temperate. Really hot days in summer and gentle winter days create the best environment to enjoy its beaches and harbor. Rain is scarce with averages of very low rainfall during the year.  The average annual temperature is about 18 ° C.

What to see in Jávea

This old town of the Costa Blanca has an interesting historical center. This part of Xàbia still preserves its peculiar medieval layout, a network of narrow streets with white facades, bright patios, arched portals, Gothic windows and grilles and wrought iron balconies, all roofed by "rough stone" of the area. Walking through this streets allows us to go back in time.

What to do in Jávea

Jávea has many activities that we can do as a family; trekking, diving, bike routes, boat trips, etc. Endless possibilities that will make our accommodation in Jávea a real pleasure. An incredible paradise for the lovers of taking pictures since the natural spaces are many and precious.

Beaches in Jávea

As a touristic and coastal town, Jávea has a beautiful port and numerous beaches and coves where you can enjoy the sun and the sea. Among the first, the most famous ones are La Grava, Primer Muntanyar or Benissero, Arenal and Segon Muntanyar. If we prefer a little more tranquility we have the coves called Blanca, Sardinera, Barraca, Ambolo or Granadella.

JANUARY AND THE PORRAT FESTIVAL

Traditionally this feast is celebrated as veneration to the saints to have good crops and cattle.During three weeks in January, the children of Jávea can enjoy a fair that is installed in the town, in addition to several acts and parades.
