Denia is a Town of the Costa Blanca focused mainly on tourism.  Located in the map of Spain in southeast, about 93 kilometers north of Alicante and 105 kilometers away south of Valencia.

What to see in Denia

Denia has many places of interest that will delight visitors. Among all of them we could highlight the Castle that once served as a fortress in the era of piracy of the Mediterranean. The Archaeological Museum and the Ethnological Museum. The Toy museum, which is located in the old train station. The fishing district headed by its port. The watchtower of the "Guerro". All this surrounded by the Natural Park of Mongó, place that has impressive views where you can see the “Cave of the Water”.

Things to do in Denia

The great environment of Denia offers visitors the possibility of trekking through different routes marked with different degrees of difficulty, on foot or by bicycle. Some of them are even adapted for families with children.

The rich underwater fauna also offers lovers of scuba diving and underwater trekking the possibility of discovering this heritage.

This part of the Alicante coast, gives multitude of tourist possibilities, always accompanied by the best Valencian gastronomy in a huge variety of restaurants along the beach.

Fiestas in Denia

Among the many parties that are celebrated throughout the year in this Town we highlight the following:

Las Fallas 

A total of eleven Fallas are burned every year. The parties begin with the plantà and gunpowder shows. Parade, Mascletaes (fireworks), music, lunches and popular dinners, etc.

The Greater Fiesta;

Fills the month of July with an extensive program of festive activities in honor of the Blessed Blood that is composed of religious and other acts and activities such as sports championships, children's activities and musical concerts.
