Benissa presents a complete programme of activities under the slogan 'Som dones, som esport'.

In the month of March, events are always held in honour of International Women's Day, and Benissa has organised a nice programme of activities focusing on women and sport.  
The two councillors for sport and equality have prepared an extensive programme of activities that will begin on the 6th at the University Headquarters, and will continue later on the 7th and 8th. Benissa Town Hall will be handing out T-shirts to all those attending with the logo of the campaign in favour of women in sport. An educational talk is also planned in the local schools.

With these activities, a tribute will be paid to all the women who, in their day, faced up to the barriers that existed to be able to practice sport. The final objective is to give visibility to the sportsmen and women of their own municipality and to make the activities accessible to a large number of people.
