Levante Beach

With a length of more than 2km and an average width of more than 50, Levante beach is situated between the Castle and Rincón de Loix. With beautiful golden grain sand, it has been recognised as a blue flag for many years, as well as other certificates of quality and international prestige.

There is a small rocky massif called the Llosar that can make the entrance to the water a little difficult, so extreme caution must be taken in this place.

It also has a nice walk right next to the sand full of services and restoration. With movement during the day and night.

It has a great occupation of people during the summer season and to satisfy the needs of all of them it has: children's area, toilets, sports area, sea rescue service, feetwasher, area with hammocks, police security and access points for disabled people.

Poniente Beach

This is the largest of the locality, and it goes from the castle to the first cove. It spreads over more than 3km long and is fully covered of very fine, soft and golden sand. It is also internationally recognized with blue flag and other certificates since 1987.

With a very high occupation in summer, a large number of services for swimmers and also has the marina in the town.  This gives it a great number of activities related to sailing and the sea.

It is also accompanied by a large promenade that is not as visited as the Levante beach.

Mal Pas Beach

This is the smallest urban beach. At the bottom of the castle and separating the 2 large beaches above, this beautiful rocky beach is less known among visitors and more enjoyed by residents of the area. Ideal for diving and various activities due to its marine fauna.

With just 125 meters, the beach has been awarded with blue flag and quality certificates.  It has a lounger service and a small lifeguard station.

La Almadrava Cove

100 meters of fine sand and rocks form this cove. Next to the natural park of Serra Gelada and touching with its neighbor, the Cala del Tio Ximo, has environmental quality certificates.

The abundance of rocks and coral make it the ideal place for diving and snorkeling.

Difficult to reach on foot, only has a lifeguard station and no other service, due to the size and location of the cove itself.  This gives it a calm and more relaxing character than the others.

Tio Ximo Cove

Small and sheltered cove, formed by fine sand and rocks, located between the cliffs of the Sierra Helada.  This place allows its visitors to escape from the great agglomeration of people in the other beaches of the area.

Its characteristics give it a special natural environment and make it an ideal place for snorkelling and diving in its clear waters.  

It also offers a lifeguard post and surveillance.
