ELCHE BEACHES

Despite being about 20 km from the coast, the city of Elche has 6 beaches. Just in the middle of them is Santa Pola which divides them in half, 3 to the north and 3 to the south.

All of them make up a coast of about 9 km almost virgin and have an unbeatable natural state.  Beaches surrounded by dunes and pinewoods that give a sensation of nature like few others.

El Altet

Located in the north side of Elche and bordering with Urbanova that already belongs to Alicante. With a great quality of sand and water, in addition to a very simple accessibility, was awarded with the blue flag. Can’t forget to mention the beauty of the ecosystem that forms all that dune habitat.

It includes feetwasher, wooden access walkways, a beach bar, hammocks and umbrellas, lifeguard service and a parking area. There is also a regular public transport line that takes you to the beach.

Arenales del Sol

There are almost 3 km of beach that make up the Arenales del Sol, one of the most valued beaches on the coast of Alicante for various reasons. The quality of the water, the fine white sand, the dunes that make up the landscape. In addition, it joins the Clot de Galvany, a unique natural spot. Only 5 km from the airport and with a nearby urban area that offers all the complementary services that may be needed.

Carabassí

At the feet of the mountain range of the same name, is the beach created with a mixture of fossil dunes and pine forests, which gives it great environmental value. All this ecosystem, together with the flora and fauna of the area creates a natural environment woth seeing.

With easy access through wooden walkways that cross the dunes to the parking area.

One of its areas is considered nudist and it is common to see bathers both with and without bathing suits during the busiest seasons. They also have basic services such as hammocks, baths, beach-bar, feetwasher and lifeguard service.

El Pinet

This beach is already on the other side of Santa Pola, in the southern part of Elche.  With an extensive pine forest that embraces it considered a natural extension of the great pine forest of Guardamar and bordering on the north with the natural park of Salinas de Santa Pola.

2 km of beach with a restaurant, villas built years ago and certain lodging services on the seashore. It also offers basic services such as feetwasher, lifeguard post, parking area, and several walkways that lead to the road. There is also public transport to the beach.

La Marina

Between El Pinet and Les Pesqueres-El Rebollo, you can get to this great beach crossing the maritime village of La Marina, that belongs to Elche. In this town we find all the services like bars, cafeterias, restaurants, offices, supermarkets, etc... only 300m from the sea.

Awarded with the valued blue flag, this beach has an extra for visitors. It hold the famous campsite of La Marina, one of the best in the Spanish Mediterranean.

El Rebollo – Les Pesqueres

Located between the village of La Marina and the mouth of the river Segura, with about 2 km of fine sand, the rebollo borders on the south with the neighbouring village of Guardamar del Segura.

Like its sister beaches of Elche, it is made up of a network of dunes and pines that make it unique. With the same services that the others, we speak of a magnificent beach for all the people and all the families.
