El Portet Beach

Fantastic and emblematic beach of fine sand and waters of a crystalline blue color. Not very large and shaped like a shell, has become one of the most beloved places in the area.

There are submarine routes to practice the diving, different adventures in kayak by the coast and there is always the option to enjoy resting in the sun.

Several routes start from this area. One of them takes us through the watchtower known as Cap d'Or and the micro-reserve of flora and fauna that is also called that way. Another one runs along the coast through different points with viewpoints to the ocean.

It has a beautiful promenade that borders it in a semi-urban area. These 300 meters of beach are visited very often by quite a few people so the occupation is usually high.

In summer it offers extra services such as: lifeguard, foot washer, toilets, car parks, catwalks and some extra activities such as canoeing.

L'Ampolla Beach

If we had to highlight one of Moraira's beaches, it would undoubtedly be this one. We are talking about the largest, busiest and most urban. Also composed predominantly of fine sand and a yellow-ocre color. Its generally calm waters are not a danger and its proximity to the centre of the municipality makes it the favourite of many.

As usual, in summer certain services are added for the comfort of visitors: lifeguard service, toilets, hammocks and chairs, children's areas, sports facilities, etc..

It also has certain additional services to make it an accessible beach for those with disabilities or reduced mobility.

The Platges

It is formed by two coves that intermingle, where it would not be known very well where to limit them. Both have areas of sand and areas of rock and stone.   They are crossed by a beautiful promenade decorated with plants and areas with gardens that give them an even more charming touch.

We could classify it within the group of semi-urban beaches and has a high number of occupancy when the summer season is approaching.

200 meters of cove divided by a small gray that offers a brief access to small and big boats.

Just like its neighbours, in the summer season it expands its services and offer: security, feetwasher, toilets, umbrella area, etc.

Cap Blanc Cove

Very small but beautiful cove, formed entirely by rock. It offers an overwhelming landscape surrounded by the most absolute tranquillity. Unbeatable for diving and fishing, or even enjoy a good bath, but always with caution as the waters in this place are sometimes quite rough.

The cove is surrounded by an agglomeration of cliffs with chunks of detached rock, and are part of the LIC (Sites of Community Interest).

It measures about 200 metres and no more than 7 metres wide.

L'Andragó Cove

Here the rocks enter directly into the sea which generates a great depth in its clear and blue waters.Ideal for fishing and diving.

It also has a fantastic viewpoint, included in one of the routes that border the coast, offering views worthy of any painting.

It tends to have a low occupancy and is not extremely large, over 145m. It also offers lifeguard services and parking in summer.

Cala Portitxol

Hidden cove which is accessed on the way to the beach of Portet very close to the club Nautico.Practically unoccupied, ideal for diving and fishing. Formed exclusively of rock, in its 80 meters of length, it emphasizes the great variety of flora. It is also an excellent place to observe the marine birds of the area

Llebeig Cove

Through the ravine known as El de la Viuda and continuing along the local path, you reach the cove by foot or directly from the sea. There are some old fishermen's refuges here, which are still in use. Just as we enter the cove we can see the old surveillance post where the smuggling of the sea was controlled. With 120 meters long and formed mostly by rocks and pebbles, it was declared a flora micro-reserve where some very relevant native plant species grow.
