Trip To Alarcon in Spain

Alarcón is located in the province of Cuenca and is a medieval village, set on a big rock close to the river Júcar.
The wall that surrounds a large part of the town is still in very good condition. The image of the location is determined by a castle from the eighth century.
Part of the castle is used by the state hotels "Paradores". On the Plaza Mayor, you can visit the church and the town hall.
The city has many attractions: Plaza de Don Manuel, Church of Santo Domingo de Silos from the 13th Century, Castillo de Alarcón, the church of Santa Maria, the Plaza Mayor with the Church of San Juan Bautista from the 16th Century.

The best way to explore the city is by foot, as it gives a nice impression of the place.
There are a lot of fantastic views, peaceful and quiet places.
